How do I join the beta and install Cordaya?

The Android closed beta is open. You need Android 14 or later, and joining the group on its own does not unlock the app.

  1. On your phone, sign in with the Google account you use in the Play Store and join the beta group: groups.google.com/g/cordaya-beta
  2. With the same account, open play.google.com/apps/testing/app.cordaya.android and tap “Become a tester”.
  3. Use the Play install link on that page.
I joined the group, but Play says the app is not available. What now?

Check these in order. Most cases are the first two.

  1. Use the same Google account for the beta group, the opt-in page and the Play Store app on your phone.
  2. Tap “Become a tester” on the opt-in page, then open the install link on your Android 14 or later phone. Joining the group alone is not enough.
  3. Allow time for access to update. Test release changes can take several hours.
  4. Your Play country and your device also have to be eligible for the test.

If it still fails, email hello@cordaya.app with the exact message Play shows, your Android version and your Play country.

Will Cordaya work with my watch or band?

Your tracker’s phone app must write the needed data to Health Connect. Fitbit and Pixel Watch use Google Health, Samsung uses Samsung Health, Garmin uses Garmin Connect, and Oura and Withings use their Android apps. Mi Band support depends on the model and Mi Fitness export; Huawei can use the Health Sync bridge. Allow that app to write to Health Connect and Cordaya to read it; basic data sharing does not guarantee enough overnight data for Recovery.

What does Cordaya cost? Is Pro a monthly payment?

The last 30 days are free. Pro unlocks older dashboard history and 90-day views in the same app, with no subscription. The one-time prices are US$9.99 and ₹499, with your local price and availability shown in Play. Pro can only show records your tracker has shared with Health Connect.

What is Health Connect, and how do I connect my tracker?

Health Connect is Android’s on-phone store for data shared by health apps. Two permissions connect your tracker to Cordaya.

  1. Sync your tracker to its phone app, then turn on that app’s Health Connect connection and write permissions.
  2. Open Health Connect → App permissions → Cordaya and allow the data you want Cordaya to read.

Both are needed: the tracker app writes the data and Cordaya reads it.

Why is the dashboard empty or missing data from today?

Start by checking whether the missing data is already in Health Connect for the day you are viewing.

  1. If it is absent there, sync your tracker’s phone app and check that app’s write permissions.
  2. If it is present, check Cordaya’s read permissions, return to Cordaya and use Refresh.

If it still does not appear, send feedback with the missing data type and selected day.

Why is Recovery missing, or why does it say Partial data?

Recovery needs a usable Sleep score, enough overnight heart rate and HRV from the same writing app and compatible device records, plus 14 eligible earlier nights in 28 days. A daily resting-heart-rate or HRV summary alone is not enough. Open the score’s explanation and check the same night’s records and permissions in Health Connect. If the required records seem present but Recovery stays missing, send feedback with an optional support report.

Does Cordaya need internet access or my Google account?

Cordaya has no internet permission, Cordaya account or Google sign-in. It reads the Health Connect categories you allow and keeps an encrypted cache on your phone, with app backups off. Pro checks use the Play Store app, which can need internet. Joining the beta shares your group profile with the developer, and feedback leaves your phone when you choose to send the email.

Is Cordaya on Google Play?

Cordaya is on Google Play as a closed beta. Join the beta group and opt in with the same Google account. Use the install link on the opt-in page, since closed tests may not appear in Play search.

Which phones does Cordaya work on?

Cordaya requires an Android phone running Android 14 or later. Health Connect is built into those Android versions. Use the phone’s personal profile, since Health Connect does not support work profiles.

Is Cordaya a medical app?

No. Cordaya shows device measurements and its own wellness scores. It does not diagnose conditions or give medical advice, and its scores are not clinically validated.

Is there an iPhone version?

Cordaya is available for Android phones only. It does not have an iPhone app or an Apple Health connection.

What does Cordaya do?

Cordaya brings the health data your tracker apps share with Health Connect into one dashboard on your Android phone. It shows sleep, activity, heart-rate trends and workouts, and calculates its own Sleep, Recovery and Movement scores. It does not pair directly with a watch or create measurements your devices have not recorded.

Can I install Cordaya on my Wear OS watch?

Install Cordaya on your Android phone. Your watch supplies data through its phone companion app and Health Connect. There is no standalone Cordaya Wear OS app.

Does Pro replace my tracker’s subscription?

No. You can use Cordaya’s free features without a Cordaya subscription. Your tracker app may have its own subscription or data-export requirements, which Cordaya cannot remove. Pro unlocks Cordaya’s older history and longer views, not paid features in your tracker app.

Who makes Cordaya?

Cordaya is built by an independent developer. Email hello@cordaya.app, ask in r/cordaya, or use the app’s feedback option to ask questions or share an idea.

Why does the first sync fail when it reads my heart rate?

The first sync can take longer with a large health history or frequent heart-rate records. Let your tracker finish syncing, check Cordaya’s Health Connect read permissions, then reopen Cordaya and try Refresh once. If the error repeats, check Play for an app update and send feedback with the exact error and an optional support report.

Do I have to allow every Health Connect permission?

You can choose which data types Cordaya may read. A page or score that needs a type you have turned off may be empty or explain that access is missing. Change access in Health Connect → App permissions → Cordaya, then return to the app. Turning a permission off does not delete the records stored in Health Connect.

Where do the Sleep, Recovery and Movement scores come from?

Cordaya calculates its own scores on your phone from Health Connect records. Sleep uses your saved sleep goal, recorded sleep continuity and usual timing; Recovery compares overnight heart rate and HRV with your own history and includes recent sleep. Movement uses step-goal progress (50%), movement across the day (30%) and workout consistency (20%), with a simpler Steps score when enough timed data is unavailable. These are not your tracker’s branded scores or medically validated measures.

Why don’t I see my Fitbit Sleep Score or Readiness?

Health Connect shares measurements, not your tracker’s branded scores. Fitbit Sleep Score and Readiness stay in Google Health, formerly the Fitbit app. Cordaya shows the shared measurements and calculates its own Sleep, Recovery and Movement scores.

I can see my sleep, so why is there no Sleep score?

A recorded sleep duration does not guarantee a complete Sleep score. Cordaya also needs a saved sleep goal, usable sleep detail and at least seven eligible earlier nights in 14 days. Incomplete or conflicting sleep records can prevent the score. Open the score’s explanation to see the missing requirement.

Do I need to use Cordaya for weeks before the scores appear?

The history comes from Health Connect, so you do not need to have used Cordaya for those weeks. Sleep needs seven usable earlier nights in 14 days; Recovery needs 14 eligible earlier nights in 28 days. Missing or partial nights do not count, and the required data must be readable. Open the score’s explanation to see which history is available.

Why is the week ring green when Recovery is missing?

The middle ring in Home’s week strip shows HRV, not the Recovery score. A recorded HRV value can appear there even when Recovery’s overnight data or history is incomplete. Open Recovery’s explanation to check its separate requirements.

Why does the app show Steps instead of Movement?

Movement needs usable timing detail across the day, beyond a daily step total. When that detail is unavailable, Cordaya uses a simpler Steps score based on your step goal. This does not mean you were inactive during the missing time.

Why are my steps, distance or pace different from the tracker app?
Known issue

Cordaya reads Health Connect, which may contain different data from your tracker app. Compare the same day or workout, units and writing app, and check Health Connect’s source priorities for activity totals. Workout distance uses records from the workout’s writing app and time window; pace uses elapsed time including pauses. If the same records still produce different results, send feedback with the comparison.

Why does Cordaya stay loading or rebuild the scores again?
Known issue

A large amount of health history can take longer to read and calculate. Check Play for an app update, reopen Cordaya and try Today or a shorter range. If loading never finishes, send feedback with the last action you took, the app version and an optional support report. If the app will not respond, email hello@cordaya.app.

How do I change my step or sleep goal?

Open Settings → Goals, enter your daily step and sleep targets, then tap Save goals. Clear a field to remove that goal. Scores use your saved targets, so changing a goal can also change recalculated scores for earlier dates.

Does Cordaya sync in the background?

Cordaya reads Health Connect while the app is open; it does not continuously read in the background. Let your tracker’s phone app sync first, then open Cordaya and use Refresh if needed. New records can arrive later depending on the tracker app.

What happens if my phone and watch both write steps or sleep?

Cordaya uses Health Connect’s source priorities for activity and sleep totals. Open Health Connect → Manage data → Data sources and priority to review which apps contribute and their order, then refresh Cordaya. Sleep is different: if two apps both save the same night (for example a Fitbit and a Garmin), Cordaya can’t match it to one night, so stages and the Sleep and Recovery scores are off for it. Until Cordaya can pick one night itself, let one app save sleep: in Health Connect → App permissions, open the other app and turn off Sleep. Recovery also has its own source-matching requirements.

Why is resting heart rate missing when I can see heart-rate readings?

Resting heart rate is a separate Health Connect data type; ordinary heart-rate readings are not enough. Check that your tracker app writes resting heart rate and Cordaya has permission to read it. If the same day’s resting-heart-rate record is present in Health Connect but missing in Cordaya, send feedback.

Why is a workout or swim missing?

Check that your tracker app has written a workout record to Health Connect for that activity and that Cordaya can read workouts. A workout visible only in the tracker app cannot appear in Cordaya. Sync the tracker app, check the selected day and refresh Cordaya. If the record is already in Health Connect but still missing, send feedback.

Can I edit a wrong distance or other tracker data in Cordaya?

Cordaya reads Health Connect and does not edit its records. Make corrections in your tracker app where it supports them, then sync and refresh Cordaya. A correction appears in Cordaya only if the tracker app writes the updated data to Health Connect.

Can I hide a metric or reorder the Home cards?

Home cards cannot currently be hidden or reordered individually. You can change your goals in Settings and choose which data Cordaya may read in Health Connect. Turning off a data type does not necessarily remove its card or missing-data message.

Why is last night’s sleep shown under today’s date?

Overnight sleep is shown under the date it ends, including the time before midnight. Daily activity totals follow your phone’s time zone. Check the selected day and time zone when comparing Cordaya with another app.

I redeemed my Pro code, so why does Cordaya still say Free?

Check Play Store is using the Google account that redeemed your code, then open Settings → Cordaya Pro → Restore purchase. If Restore finds nothing, tap Unlock Pro once; if Play says you already own it, close that message and restore again. Cancel if Play asks you to pay, because beta testers should use their free code. If Pro stays locked, send feedback.

Why is my Pro code rejected or already redeemed?

Redeem the code with the Google account that installed Cordaya, in Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Redeem code. Codes are single-use, and Play checks whether the promotion is active and your account is eligible. If it says already redeemed, use Settings → Cordaya Pro → Restore purchase with the account that redeemed it. For another error, email hello@cordaya.app with its exact wording and cancel if checkout asks you to pay for your tester access.

Is Pro free for beta testers, and where is my code?

Yes, Pro is free for beta testers. Once Cordaya is installed, claim your personal code at cordaya.app/pro: you’re signed in with Google already, so it’s one tap, and the code arrives by email within a minute. Use the same Google account you joined the beta group with. In the email, tap the redeem link, then open Cordaya → Settings → Cordaya Pro → Restore purchase. Lost your code? Claim again and the same one is re-sent.

I have Pro, so why is older history still missing?

Pro unlocks older views, but it does not create or retrieve data from your tracker account. Cordaya needs Health Connect’s older-history permission and the records must already be available there. Check both in Health Connect, then refresh Cordaya. If the records are present and access is allowed, send feedback about the missing period.

How do I restore Pro after reinstalling or changing phones?

Install Cordaya using the Google account that bought Pro or redeemed your tester code. Open Settings → Cordaya Pro → Restore purchase. Your health records also need to be available in Health Connect on that phone; restoring Pro does not transfer them from your old phone.

Does a tester code give temporary Pro access?

A tester code unlocks the same one-time Pro product as a paid purchase. It does not start a trial or subscription. Your access is tied to the Google account that redeemed it, so use that account when restoring Pro.

What happens if I clear Cordaya’s local health cache?

Open Settings → Clear local health cache to remove Cordaya’s saved health cache. Your goals and the original records in Health Connect are kept. Cordaya will need to read the available records again. To stop access instead, change Cordaya’s permissions in Health Connect.

What health data can Cordaya read?

With your permission, Cordaya can read steps, distance, active and total calories, workouts, elevation, sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate and HRV from Health Connect. Separate history access lets it read older records. It does not request health-data write access or workout routes.

Where can I ask questions or talk to other users?

Use r/cordaya on Reddit for general questions, ideas and community discussion. For private questions or app problems, email hello@cordaya.app or use the app’s feedback option. You can review and include an optional support report when sending feedback.

How do I report a bug or send feedback?

Open the app’s feedback option and describe what you were doing and what happened. Add the optional support report if you want to share it, and review its preview first. Review and send the message from your own email app. If Cordaya will not open or respond, email hello@cordaya.app.

What is in the support report, and is it sent automatically?

The optional report can include app and phone details, usage information and information about app errors. It excludes health readings, passwords and promo codes. Read the preview to see exactly what you will share. Nothing is sent automatically; you review and send the message from your email app.

Still stuck?

Email hello@cordaya.app with your phone model, Android version, tracker, and what you see on screen. Please don't send health readings. To ask other users or share ideas, join r/cordaya.
